How to fix defects and potential problems (Troubleshooting)


In order to resolve potential problems before contacting the company use the following guide.

Solution / suggestion

          No electricity.

          Power not available from source.

          Power cable is not connected to the system.

          Faulty input power wires or connections.

          If the device won't start check to see if there is power at the electrical outlet which the Electroris is plugged into. Plug a lamp or radio into the outlet to check it. If the outlet is dead, check the circuit breakers or fuses for the home.

          If the device won't start, check to be sure there is power to the electrical outlet for the home. If that is OK, the power cord itself might be defective. This is rare. You can check the power cord with an Ohm meter for continuity.

          Electrical cables connect the device but the device is turned off.

          Device is turned off.

          Turn on the device using the back main key of the device.

          Key behind the device is switched on but the switch light is off.

          Key destruction / blowing fuse

          If the device won't start the line fuse might have blown, or the line fuse holder might be damaged and need to be replaced.

          LCD is turned on, but it is remained in “SET ZERO” position.

          Failing of distance and scanning system

o    Retaining the system tray or any other external objects that prevent the movement of the distance and scanning system.

o    Scanning or distance motor failure

o    cutting off or unclenching of belt that attached to the motor

          Failing of zero switches

          Separate syringe pump and drum

          Separate the tray.

          If the distance or scanning system won't move the motor coupling might have failed. The motor coupling connects the motor to the belts transmission.

          If the distance or scanning system won't move, check the drive belts. If the belts are broken or if it isn't tight on the pulleys the distance and scanning system won't move properly.

          If the distance or scanning system won't move the motor control board might be defective. The motor control board provides power to the motor as well as direction and force. If the motor control board is defective the device may not work at all or function properly.

          If the distance or scanning system won't move then the drive pulley or shaft might be worn out, seized, or damaged. Remove the drive pulley or shaft and inspect it carefully. If it is damaged or defective replace it.

          If the distance or scanning system won't move the bearing might need to be replaced.

          If the distance or scanning system won't move, check to be sure the zero keys is OK, You can check the keys with an Ohm meter for continuity.

In most cases should be contacted with the company.

Note: If SET Zero remain on the display for more than 10 seconds, for preventing damage to the motors, turns off the device and check the reason.

          Keys on the panel not work.

          Software hanging.

          Button is not pressed properly.

          Turn off and then turn the system on.

          Press Reset switch.

          Incorrect button is pressed: For example, the numbers on the panel buttons work only in special occasions.

          The LCD is cluttered and Characters will not display correctly

          Software hanging.

          Turn off and then turn the system on.

          Press Reset switch

          Some of the characters on the LCD are not showing correctly but the system works properly.

          Refresh failure to LCD: This problem occurs in situations where the different operation in the system prevents display will refreshed. Especially in high speed rotation speed.

          This problem will not caused disorder in the system function. However, you can stop the system and start it again.

          Syringe Pump pedals not move.

          Syringes pump pedal stuck.

          The motor shaft has been released.

          Shaft coupling is broken.

          If the pedal won't move, check the drive belt. If the belts are broken or if it isn't tight on the pulleys the pedal won't move properly.

          With the help of the pedal by hand and simultaneously press the right key to release the pedal of syringe pump.

          If the pedal won't move then the drive pulley or shaft might be worn out, seized, or damaged. Remove the drive pulley or shaft and inspect it carefully. If it is damaged or defective replace it.

          If the pedal won't move the motor control micro-driver might be defective. The motor driver provides power to the motor as well as direction and force. If the motor control board is defective the device may not work at all or function properly.

          Collector drum rotation failure.

  • Drum (L4 key) is in the off state.
  • Drum rate volume is low.
  • Cable socket of drum is removed.
  • DC Motor failure
  • DC Motor driver failure

          Press the STOP button and then press the button L4 to change from OFF to “0”.

          Turn the volume right direction.

          Check the cable socket and close it tightly.

          Rotate the drum by hand to ensure that no stuck

          To prevent damage to the motor turns off the device and check the reason.

          You can check the power cord with an voltmeter.

          Syringe pump pedal goes left, but the solution does not injected from nozzle.

  • Clogging the nozzle, hose or tube connected to the syringe by the dried polymer solution

          By a thin wire you can open the nozzles or tube.

          Replace nozzle, hose or tube.

          Injection of polymer solution is not correct.

  • The diameter of syringe incorrectly entered to the system.

          Measure the syringe diameter using a caliper (All calculations related to the injection rate are based on this size.)

          No injection and LCD display "Injected volume reaches to max limit"

  • The entered Max volume was injected.

          Press the cancel button twice to set zero the injection volume.

          High voltage is turned on but by twisting the volume, HV display still shows zero voltage.

  • One or more of doors is open.
  • Safety switches failure

          Close all doors.

          If the HVPS won't start the doors safety switch might be defective. This is a very common problem. The safety switches assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity in close position of doors.

          High voltage power supply is not turned off while opening doors.

  • Machine doors stuck or switches are broken.
  • Safety socket behind the High voltage power supply is removed.

          Check the door switches.

          Connects socket behind the High voltage power supply. (To do this, screws behind the case of high voltage power supply should be open.)

          Heater system can’t produce high temperatures.

  • Very high temperature is selected.
  • To prevent damage to the heater, the heater is turned off by internal thermostat.

          Very high temperatures (above 45 degrees) not suitable for this system. Select Lower temperature.

          Wait until the heater thermostat is connected again.
