2nd rank of top technologies for Fnm Co. electrospinning devices

TEHRAN (INIC)- The 4th Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition (Iran Nano 2011) ended work here in Tehran on Sunday after granting a sum of over $600,000 of awards to Iranian experts active in the field of nanotechnology.

The closing ceremony of Iran Nano 2011 was held in the presence of the Science and Technology Deputy of the Presidential Office this afternoon.

During the ceremony, Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology Nasrin Soltankhah voiced pleasure in Iran's global position in the field of nanotechnology, and added, "The efforts of all institutes active in the field of nanotechnology has pushed Iran to a higher rank, and I would like to thank them all."

The top 10 researchers, top 3 research institutes, top 3 laboratories, top 3 growth centers, top 5 technologies, and top 5 media were rewarded in this ceremony, according to their activities in the last year (2010-2011).

The top researchers have been shortlisted according to their production of science and technology (including the publication of ISI papers, registration of international patents, and conducting MSc or PhD theses and dissertations).

Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council organizes the Nanotechnology Award Ceremony annually, parallel to the International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition. The event is the biggest award ceremony to praise the researchers and knowledge-based companies active in the field of nanotechnology.
